Letter to girl parents from coaches
Apr 25, 2013, 3:31 pm

Dear Parents,

We are very excited to begin our 2013 Potsdam Youth Lacrosse season!! Below and on the reverse side (see calendar tab) is a tentative schedule for practices and play days which can always be found online at www.potsdamlax.com. There is always a chance that weather can play a factor in a practice cancellation and with any changes all updates will be posted online as well! Please remember that your daughter will need a mouth guard, goggles, and a stick at every practice and each play day. You will see below that depending on field space, please be prepared to move to the grass right next to the turf for practices.

If you have any questions please contact:

Sarah Bullard – sbullard@nncsk12.org (315-212-2866 – cell)

Jill Gaebel – jgaebel@potsdam.k12.ny.us (716-866-6058 – cell)

Thank you!

Get Ready for Lacrosse Season!
Mar 8, 2008, 7:59 pm
Lacrosse season will be here again soon, so get ready to play!  Double check to make sure that the stringing in your lacrosse stick is okay, and that your head has not cracked if it has been in storage, although you should have your stick in your hands all year!  Make sure you have all the proper equipment: helmet(hockey helmets are okay until 5th grade, then you must have a lacrosse helmet), gloves(lacrosse gloves allow much more needed use and flexibility), elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard, and cleats.  It is also recommended that boys wear a protective cup.
Players should begin to stretch a bit on their own to help prepare for the upcoming season.
This will help them to limit the amount of soreness they may face as we get going.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
Looking forward to seeing you all this season!!!
